- Accommodation
Students can make arrangements for their preferred accommodation. However, the United Kenya Club can facilitate accommodation for $28 per night. To secure your accommodation, you must make a 50% booking deposit by April 30, 2025.
- Visa
For students who need visas, the Advancement Office of the University of Nairobi will help with the application.
You can also visit the Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) website to apply.
- Insurance
You are advised to have health insurance during your stay in Kenya (See your insurance company for details).
- Internet Connection
The University has an excellent Internet connection for lectures, including remote lectures, practical work, and personal use.
- Social Program
The program includes voluntary social/cultural activities during the week and for the weekend.
- Transportation
Airport transfers are organised by the University of Nairobi before and after the summer school. The timetable will be shared in due time.
Transportation for field trips and excursions will be provided by the University of Nairobi.
